The longest chocolate train in the world
An event by
52meters
28tons of chocolate

The Winter Games Express was created with an extraordinary goal: to build the world’s longest chocolate train under the guidance of Master Chocolatier Andrew Farrugia, already the world record holder.

A LABORATORY OF EXCELLENCE AND TRAINING

Designed with the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics in mind, the initiative will be an important training and solidarity experience. Through the involvement of schools, consortia, and local organizations, The Winter Games Express will become an opportunity to train young talent and support charitable initiatives in Italy and Malta, the Maestro’s country of origin.

Work has been underway since October – at the Minetti 1980 laboratories – to build the carriages that will make up the train, using chocolate generously supplied by Belcolade Italia, part of Puratos Italia, a professional chocolate brand that combines authentic Belgian tradition with the highest quality products dedicated to pastry chefs, chocolatiers and professionals in the sector. The chocolate carriages will finally be transported to Milan by Brivio&Viganò, a leading company in the logistics and transport sector, for the final assembly of all the components and display to the public at Palazzo Lombardia.
